Sh.Narayan dass is a name of an Institution, who devoted his life to the service of motherland. He was born on 13th April 1922 in Dera Ismail Khan, North west province of undivided India. He completed his B.Sc in Mathematics from Lahore in 1942. He was a good player of Hockey. He was associated with the Students Association during school days. The cruelty of the English during freedom movement shocked him badly. He joined R.S.S.(Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh) and attended a Sangh Training Camp in 1938 in Lahore. His contact with Dr.Hedgewar proved to be a turning point in his life. After graduation he became Parcharak of R.S.S. and worked on Lyallpur area of undivided Punjab. After independence he worked in Bathinda and Patiala districts and later became a Prant Parcharak. In 1970 he became a founder member and convener of Sarvhitkari Educational Society- The Punjab unit of Vidya Bharti, Akhil Bhartiya Siksha Sansthan. He was assigned the job of all India General Secretary and North Zone Organising Secretary of Vidya Bharti.
